The short version
Genug uses the information you choose to provide to create private, personalized visualization sessions. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to serve advertising.
Data controller and contact
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@genug.co.
Information we handle
This can include your email address, display name, Persona answers, self-reported age, current and desired city, occupation, routines, priorities, and details you choose to share about people who matter to you. It can also include session preferences, thoughts, journal entries you allow for personalization, Vision Board items and optional notes, an optional profile photo, generated audio metadata, session feedback, and basic product events such as whether a session started or reached 80% completion.
If you join the iOS waitlist, we store your email address in Supabase to notify you when the iOS app launches. You can ask us to remove it using the contact address above.
If you download a board from the vision board maker, we store your email address and the Pinterest board link in Supabase. We only send you marketing email if you tick the box for it. The images stay on Pinterest; we pass them to your browser to draw the board and do not keep them. You can ask us to remove your email using the contact address above.
Product analytics never intentionally include your journal text, Persona or personal-detail text, email address, images, or audio content. Public visit measurement records page path, referrer, and device context so we can see which pages people open.
How it is used
We use account data to save your work across devices, prepare and deliver sessions, secure the service, control generation costs, understand whether the core experience works, and respond to feedback. Journal entries excluded from personalization remain in your journal and are not included in session requests. Your profile photo is used only to show your account in the app.
To make personalized sessions, the service may derive a private set of evidence-based aspirations, preferences, and recurring themes from these inputs. This context exists only to improve future sessions. It is rebuilt when source information changes and removed when your account is deleted.
Service providers
Genug currently relies on Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; Google Gemini and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech for script, image understanding, and speech generation; Stripe for payments; and Vercel for application hosting and public visit measurement. Visit analytics stay on Vercel: page path, referrer, and device context, without advertising cookies. Pinterest content is contacted only when you choose to add a Pinterest link. These providers process information only to supply the relevant service. Feedback and support messages are stored in Supabase. A shortened copy, including your email when you contact support, is sent to our team messaging provider (Slack or Discord) so we can review and reply.
Control and retention
You can export your account data from Settings, including your Persona, journal, feedback, and links to download private audio and images, or permanently delete your account there. Download links expire, so save those files promptly. Active account data is kept while you use the service. Deletion removes your live account records and private files. De-identified product events may remain for aggregate measurement, and limited backup copies may remain temporarily under infrastructure providers' normal backup cycles. Stripe may retain transaction records where required for financial, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations even after its customer record is deleted.
AI processing and your controls
Genug uses AI to turn the goals, Persona answers, journal entries, thoughts, and board images you choose to share into personalized scripts, audio, and image analysis. Information needed for those features may be sent to Google's AI services. Personalization is on by default when you create an account. You can turn it off in Settings. Your saved content remains available, while new AI analysis and generation stop until you turn it on again. Turning it off also deletes derived AI memory and saved chat import synthesis.
Security and questions
We use private storage, authenticated access rules, and reasonable technical safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security. You can also send a privacy question or request through “Share feedback” in the profile menu.
